img Makoto's Steakhouse of Japan was built in Boone, North Carolina on the site of the previous restaurant building where renovation was deemed infeasible.

It features a Central Japanese Garden, an interior fountain, a Sushi Bar, and dining for 199 patrons. Completed in 2004.

Makoto's Steakhouse
of Japan

img Laurel Springs Baptist Church in Watauga County, North Carolina is a new facility built for an existing congregation which had outgrown its original sanctuary.

It features worship space for 300 congregants, several classrooms, and a Fellowship Hall with a capacity of 400. Completed in 2006.

Laurel Springs
Baptist Church

imgChetola Resort is the only gated community in the resort town of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, adjacent to a national forest.

Over 14 condominium buildings were built from modified prototype plans to fit site constraints and owner/sales-requested changes. Plans feature 4-unit and 6-unit configurations.

Chetola Resort Condominiums

imgThis 3600 S.F. residence in Blowing Rock, North Carolina is shown at 95% completion. Features:

· Hydronic radiant floor heating
· Up to 90% gas efficiency
· Central Dehumidification
· On-demand hot water recirculation
· ICF basement walls
· Stick frame and log post & truss system
· Polyurethane foam insulation
· No urea-formaldehyde adhesives
· Design themes interpreted from client's European ancestral home.

Residence #1

imgThis 4,283 S.F. residence in Banner Elk, North Carolina faces a magnificent view.

It features cherry flooring, vaulted ceilings, and ipe decking. Completed in 2008.

Residence #2

imgThis 3,000 S.F. residence in Carter County, Tennessee is sited on a bluff overlooking a T.V.A. lake, bounded by the Appalachian Mountains.

It features curved wood-framed walls, an open main floor plan, and a collonnade and coffered ceiling in the Great Room. Completed in 2008.

Residence #3

imgThis rustic, log-cabin style residence functions as a secluded mountain retreat for owners and their friends alike in Bethel, North Carolina.

It features custom woodwork throughout, and is a fine example of the wood butchers' craftsmanship. Sean P. Krause acted as design consultant on many details. Completed in 2007.
